• Solana Defi exchange, OptiFi, accidentally locks up $661K – forever

NFTs

• OpenSea tweets a thread on what they are doing for the upcoming Ethereum merge

• Proof Collective hosts their Future Proof stream and announces a laundry list of things to come which make us very boolish on the Proof ecosystem. On this list they announced mythics, how to get a mythic (nested moonbirds and burning oddities) and some mythic art mock ups. They gave insights on project Highrise and what that will become, announced a $50M investment from a16z and the $PROOF token is officially coming. It's hard not to see Proof Collective becoming the top player in the NFT space. Yuga Labs better watch out!

• The highly anticipated Solana NFT project y00ts is slated to drop Sunday, September 4th

• Ticketmaster explores turning tickets into NFTs using the Flow blockchain

• A new teaser trailer for the Otherside by Yuga Labs was released on their Twitter page last night hinting at more to come Q4. The trailer looks awesome and definitely gets us excited to see what they are building

• Wu-Tang Clan partners with Coinbase to release their first NFT project called Wu-Tiger Clan

• DigiDaigaku airdrop details have been shared by Founder Gabrial Leydon

• Rarible drops a limited coffee blend based on NFT collection mfers

• Aglet, a virtual sneaker mobile application, partners with Adidas Originals for Steptember which is a move-to-earn step competition with prizes

• The second annual GutterCon has been announced. The Gutter Cat Gang community takes over Las Vegas for a weekend, holders only event

• Luxury Fashion brand Hermes looks to enter into the Web3 space

• A simple guide to the web3 developer stack by Coinbase

• Social media company Snap cuts Web3 team while lay offs continue

• A company called Stacked raises $13M to try and create the Twitch for Web3 gamers
