The Great CC0 License Debate: Moonbird Holders Lose Big
U.S. Treasury shuts down Tornado Cash
Welcome to the Exit Liquidity newsletter, the place to stay up to date on the ridiculous things that happen in the Crypto, NFTs & Web3. If you are looking to join the community check out the AlphaMint Discord where all the degens gather to chat in the dojo.
Over the weekend we found out how the NFT market really feels about Web3 ideals and beliefs when Moonbird holders were told they no longer own the IP rights to their birbs and they were all given a CC0 License without a warning or consent. A lot of people were pissed and some were excited for the discounted entry price to the collection. Fear not, we have seen other projects that have CC0 licenses thrive and become one top players.
We also found out that Uncle Sam is coming for that hard earned money and is going to eliminate any chance you have of hiding it from them. Pour one out for our homies over at Tornado Cash, but we fully believe this won't be the last we see of them. Privacy will become more scarce and coveted as Big Brother slowly moves toward Crypto regulation in the United States.
